Agriculture + Environment. Since 1994.

Who we are

Agriment Services, Inc. is one of the Southeast’s most experienced animal waste management firms. For over 30 years we have helped thousands of swine, poultry and dairy producers stay in compliance, manage sludge, close lagoons and protect their operations. Our name says what we do: Agriculture and Environment, working together.

Our History

  1. 1994

ASI is founded to help North Carolina swine producers navigate new environmental rules.

  2. 1995

After a major lagoon failure in Onslow County, the state writes new rules for swine farms. ASI becomes the first firm in NC to offer a statewide Basic Monitoring Program for swine farms.

  3. 1996–1997

NRCS updates its lagoon standards, adding sludge storage, freeboard and heavy-rainfall capacity. ASI designs and permits new farms to the new criteria as the state begins yearly inspections of every swine farm.

  4. 1998

North Carolina places a moratorium on new swine farms. ASI’s Basic Monitoring Program keeps growing.

  5. 1999

ASI begins developing its own biological manure treatment products and mixing systems, and sells products for the first time.

  6. 2001

ASI takes its programs national, starting with dairy farms in California’s San Joaquin Valley.

  7. 2002–2004

New sludge measurement rules make ASI a leader in sludge surveys, and ASI launches its lagoon bioremediation program for sludge management.

  8. 2005

National Hog Farmer features ASI’s founder, Ronnie ‘Geno’ Kennedy Jr., as an innovator in biological lagoon treatment.

  9. 2006

Agriment Realty launches to serve buyers and sellers of permitted livestock farms.

  10. 2007

NC Senate Bill 3 passes. ASI becomes lead consultant to renewable energy developers.

  11. 2010

Hog Slat, a leading global supplier to the pork and poultry industry, begins carrying ASI products.

  12. 2011

A nine-lagoon trial of ASI’s sludge boat and biological program cuts sludge by 7.8 million gallons.

  13. 2013

ASI launches its Sludge Buster agitation boat program and forms Renewable Transport LLC for sludge transport and lagoon closure.

  14. 2015–2017

ASI is selected for major lagoon and sludge projects for some of the nation’s largest swine integrators. Products are now sold internationally.

  15. 2022

Renewable Transport launches the Fendt Sludge Management Program: 10,000-gallon tanks and a 12,000-gallon-per-minute agitator.

  16. 2026

ASI acquires Eutrobac and its NutriFilter™ technology, expanding into stormwater and nutrient solutions.

  17. Today

ASI serves thousands of producers across the Southeast and Midwest.
